Personal Injury Pre Litigation Case Manager

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Personal Injury Case Manager to join our expanding team.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury law and be responsible for managing client files from intake through the start of litigation, with an emphasis on pre-litigation settlements. This role requires exceptional communication, organization, and follow-through while serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their case.
Responsibilities
- Conduct new client intakes and open new case files.
- Enter and maintain accurate case information within the firm’s case management system.
- Coordinate all initial client correspondence and documentation.
- Request, track, and organize medical records and supporting documentation.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status, treatment progress, and outstanding information.
- Monitor medical treatment and follow up with clients to ensure continuity of care and timely case progression.
- Prepare and process insurance forms, including New York No-Fault applications and related documentation.
- Communicate with medical providers, insurance carriers, and other parties involved in the claim.
- Assist attorneys in moving cases efficiently toward settlement.
- Maintain organized files while ensuring deadlines and case milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager and/or Personal Injury Legal Secretary.
- Thorough knowledge of New York plaintiff’s personal injury practice.
- Experience handling New York No-Fault claims and insurance documentation.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team.
